Sit back and enjoy an epic story about brotherly love. This is a story about the greatest football team in the history of the game. It's a story about teenage boys who became men, friends who became brothers, and fanatics who became cult heroes. It's not just the winning that mattered. This movie shows what it really took to get there; how these boys ate together, slept together on bus rides to games - they were all there for each other when they needed each other the most... Everyone had their own agendas when they were young, but the only thing they really wanted was to be on that field one day. It was a dream they pursued with passion, ambition, and with the best of intentions. They asked for nothing in return except for their love and respect. No one would have bet against them or called them "stubborn" for dreaming big dreams... But it wasn't hard to see the dangers ahead after all these years... Each of these boys made impressive contributions to death-defying plays, memorable moments in history, and long-lasting legacies. But no one was more important or influential than Raymond Lee Lewis, or "Zik", as he was known in his family. His father, a decorated Vietnam veteran who served as a drill sergeant, instilled in him the values of discipline and respect. Zik's values were always to lead by example – to do whatever it took – and he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father. It was these underlying values that would define his dedication to his career as well as to his family. In the early 2000s, Arthur Blank purchased an expansion franchise in the National Football League (NFL) and named it after its home city of Atlanta - The Atlanta Falcons. In January 2003, Blank brought in Rich McKay as General Manager and later named Mike Smith as Head Coach. They set out to build a consistent winner that would eventually compete for Super Bowl titles. There was a unique combination of factors that led to the Falcons' success: a top-notch quarterback in Michael Vick, a dominating defense and a relentless running game. The team's popularity and appeal soared and an attendance record was set in 2004 with 70,738 fans attending the home opener. The 2005 season was the second year the team played at the Georgia Dome - an indoor arena with a retractable roof, which opened in 1992. The dome provided necessary protection from Atlanta's humid summers. The team's popularity continued to increase with television ratings, merchandise sales, attendance figures and the value of the franchise itself. The Falcons started off the 2005 season with high expectations after coming off a playoff appearance in 2004. However, the team had some growing pains during the first half of the season. Still, they managed to clinch a Wild Card spot in the playoffs for a consecutive year for only the second time in franchise history. Once again, it was their defense that carried them into contention. They set an NFL record that season by allowing only two rushing touchdowns all year – both by Chicago Bears running back Thomas Jones. cfa1e77820
